OUR PRODUCTION PHILOSOPHY:<\/p>\n

We do organic by conviction and we are proud to be able to say that the company philosophy of Le Macchie Alte goes beyond organic certification, since, by choice, we do not use organic fertilizers or other products such as copper allowed in organic farming.<\/p>\n

To make our land fertile we refer to the practices of the peasant tradition: land rotation, grazing animals for natural fertilization, use of sativa hemp, a plant rich in mineral salts widespread in the past, which makes the land of our garden particularly fertile and from which we obtain the dried flowers. Our animals eat only hay produced by us and live in a totally natural way, in the wild.
\nFor the management of parasites in the garden and on fruit trees, we use self-produced garlic and nettle macerates.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the choice to cultivate ancient variety grains not only allows us to reuse the seed we produce for subsequent crops, but is part of weed management strategies since ancient grains are very tall and do not allow the growth of other plants. naturally present in the field. These grains, among other things, have a historical genetic heritage, selected during evolution, which makes this plant particularly resilient, adapting more to adverse climatic conditions.<\/p>\n

Le Macchia Alte represent a complete system in which crop diversification creates the ideal conditions in which animals and plants find themselves in synergy and biodiversity represents the best antidote for the management of parasites and pathogens.<\/p>\n
