Podere Sèmia is an old farmhouse located in the heart of the Maremma, just 2 minutes from Le Macchie Alte, on the “poggio di là”. The farmhouse offers 5 double rooms, each with a private bathroom, an independent fully equipped kitchen, and a large veranda available to guests. Podere Sèmia features a large eco-friendly saltwater pool. The property provides wifi and linen service.

Plastic is not welcome — guests can purchase still and sparkling water in glass bottles with a deposit system. To avoid disposable materials, the kitchen has a dishwasher and a cupboard with ceramic plates and glasses, cutlery, and various utensils. To ensure minimal environmental impact, there are recycling bins both in common areas and in the rooms.

From the farmhouse you can reach the 6 km and 9 km hiking trails of Le Macchie Alte and the restaurant which, by reservation, offers dinners featuring organic products. Podere Sèmia is also an organic farm. The name, inspired by the Etruscan earth deity — the goddess Sèmia — refers to sowing, in our case of ancient local grains and cereals. Podere Sèmia and Le Macchie Alte are part of a business network: a collaboration aimed at diversifying services offered and agricultural production.
